USDA Organic Certification:
We are Certified Organic and undergo an annual third-party certification to keep our certification current. Our Organic Certification is to USDA NOP (National Organic Program) standards.

Our certifier is Oregon Tilth, a leader in the field of inspections and certification. Their mission is to build a brighter food future and we are proud to partner with them.
Fair Trade Certification:
We were one of the pioneers of Fair Trade in the U.S. Fair Trade seeks to promote equitable trade. A portion of your purchase price goes back directly to the workers of the tea estate.
Kosher Certification:
Our Kosher certification also requires an annual audit to verify standards are met. The Kosher certificate, unlike some others, lists categories and not all individual products.
Makaibari Tea Estate Preferred Supplier:
Our close partnership with the oldest garden in Darjeeling, India allows us to bring you the best of its harvests and share first-hand knowledge about tea farming and manufacture. We carry authentic Makaibari Organic and Fair Trade Darjeeling tea.
